Waitakere Portable Cabins Rental Service

When you find you are living in cramped conditions, or need some space of your own, our portable cabins in Waitakere are the perfect answer. These simple, single, portable rooms can be rented immediately and used as a sleepout or extra room.

You will find our cabins comfortable and spacious with all the features you'd want in your own home - power, security lights, smoke alarm, security stays on the window, insulation, painted interior, with carpets and curtains. Cabins are available in two sizes, so if you need a more spacious area we can accommodate you.

We've built our cabins to strict quality standards, so no maintenance is required. They have their own trailer, so they are easy to deliver. Being trailerised gives better manoeuvrability, enabling us to site them exactly where you want. And as the cabins are on a raised floor there are no problems with dampness.

They are ready for occupancy as soon as they are delivered. So if you need to get your teenager out of the house, or want extra room for an office or storage, renting a portable cabin from Just Cabins in Waitakere can be the perfect answer.

About Portable Cabins

A portable cabin, is generally a small, simple, one room building designed and built to be movable, rather than permanently located. Portable buildings (e.g. yurts) have been used since prehistoric times. Cabins are considered to be a small rough house or shelter, with basic living utilities, often constructed from logs. The most familiar modern type of portable cabins are designed to be impermanent, and are carried to or from site on a trailer, and can be manoeuvred into position.

About Waitakere

Waitakere is a former city in the west of Auckland, and was New Zealand's fifth largest city, but is now amalgamated into Auckland city. Locals are known as 'Westies' because of the areas location relative to the rest of Auckland. The Waitakere population is made up of blue-collar workers, mostly working in the service industry in industrial hubs. Other industry is horticulture and viticulture. Waitakere takes its name from bush clad Waitakere ranges on it's western side. Lifestyle properties nestle in the bush in the lower Waitakeres and the areas walking tracks and sights attract visitors. Beyond the ranges are the open wild surf beaches of Piha, Karekare and Bethells. These black sand beaches are popular with surfers and swimmers, but are also known for their treacherous rips and wild seas. To the south and east are the Manukau and Waitemata Harbours.
