All the space you need

When you need more space at home, at the beach, or at the office, a portable cabin from Just Cabins rental service in Hauraki, Thames & Coromandel can be the perfect solution. Our portable accommodation cabins have been especially designed for use as a outside portable room, in whatever capacity needed. As well as a sleepout for extended family, or an office, they are becoming popular as an outside studio, and are also great to use as tourist cabins.

We've based our cabins on the concept of portable buildings and caravans, but built them on a permanent trailer. So delivering our cabins to customers is easy, just hitch them to a vehicle and they are on their way. We can manoeuvre them into tight spaces, generally without the need of a hi-ab truck or crane.

To make better temporary portable accommodation, we've incorporated the standard modular building design and added many more features,- a small deck and eave to protect from the weather, lockable ranch slider, power, security lights, smoke alarm, secure window, full insulation, painted interior, with carpets and curtains.

Renting our portable accommodation or office cabins is easy. We've kept the room size to within 10m2 so they do not require permits or consents from local councils. Just apply to rent a cabin in Thames and Coromandel through Just Cabins, or phone us on 0800 289 496, and our portable cabin rental service will quickly deliver your new cabin. You can even plan your cabin with this handy online tool.

About Portable Accommodation Cabins

A portable cabin, is generally a small, basic, single room building designed and built to be movable, rather than permanently located. Portable cabins have a variety of uses. They may be used for long-term, temporary or permanent facilities, and are very affordable because of the factory construction of these buildings. Standard cabins are considered to be a small rough house or shelter, with basic living utilities, and in the past often built from logs. The most familiar modern type of portable accommodation cabins are designed to be impermanent, and are carried to or from site on a trailer, and can be manoeuvred into position.

About Thames and Coromandel

Thames was once the third largest town in NZ, when it's industry was based on gold and kauri logging. Now this small historic town, situated on the Firth of Thames and below the majestic ranges of the Coromandel, is the largest town on the Coromandel peninsular. Thames glorious past is still evident in the old heritage buildings, pubs and museums in the town. Now known as the gateway to the Coromandel, the beautiful scenic drive from Thames up the coastline, takes you through many picturesque beach holiday communities, with magnificent pohutukawa trees stretched along the shores of the beaches.

Coromandel town was established in the 1800's during the gold rush and retains much of its mining heritage. Coromandel is now a popular holiday destination full of character and charm, with a strong arts and craft community. The main industries in the town are mussel farming and tourism based around the spectacular harbour, coastline and mountainous backdrop.

Beyond the town, the Coromandel peninsula is a rugged region, with many popular holiday destinations along the coastline, popular for fishing, boating and the beach lifestyle.
